Clamps
PHD Clamps offer very low cost of ownership, exceptional flexibility, and are unsurpassed in ruggedness. Units are offered in two sizes, four jaw styles, and five jaw opening increments to fit a wide range of applications. A wide selection of modular jaw tips are also offered.
Cylinders
PHD offers a wide range of cylinders. Ranging from Tom Thumb Cylinders, known for durability and versatility, to Compact Cylinders where space is critical. PHD also offers the industry standard Series CV Cylinders design for long travel lengths.
Escapements
For applications requiring the individual release of parts from vibratory feeders, hoppers, or magazines, pneumatically powered escapements are ideal. Models are available with switches for easy interface with various electronic controls.
Grippers
PHD's Grippers can be used for internal and external gripping and come in a variety of jaw styles to adapt to any application. Grippers range from miniature series to heavy duty series capable of more then 1600 pounds of grip force.
Multi-Motion Actuators
Multi-Motion Actuators provide rotary and linear motion from one output shaft. The reach-and-turn motions are independent from one another, making it easy to sequence the two motions. The Multi-Motion is ideal for part turnaround and orientation operations.
Rotary Actuators
PHD offers a complete line of Rotary Actuators with a wide range of options. Our pneumatic and hydraulic rack-and-pinion Rotary Actuators are available in miniature series as well as larger series for applications requiring up to 31,000 in-LB of torque.
Slides
PHD Powered Slides include cantilever and saddle types, and operate using air, air/oil, or electric power sources. PHD offers over ten different series of slides designed to handle loads ranging from a few ounces up to 300 pounds.
PHD Optimax® products are actuators designed to meet machine builders’ performance requirements at a competitive price. These economical, efficient, and reliable actuators provide customers with an alternative choice to PHD’s standard “built-to-order” product line, delivering even more solutions to meet industrial application needs.
PHD Optimax™ Series OSD Pneumatic Thruster Slides are robust linear actuators designed for precision and are ideal for a variety of applications. They are the lower price alternative to the Series SD Pneumatic Thruster Slides, which have more options and longer cycle life. The Series OSD is available in three bore sizes and offers standard travel lengths ranging from 1 in to 10 in. To simplify installation and provide for interchangeability, the OSD features a tool plate for mounting of tooling or other actuators. The Series OSD has a minimum order quantity of 10 units.
